We reviewed the work to be done - there were 5 distinct tasks - and the team set-to to do them and leave the place looking tidy when they left. After I emailed some pictures of the stumps I received a very competitive quote by Tuesday lunchtime. The work took place on Wednesday morning and was completed quickly, safely and to a good standard. The person that completed the work was personable and professional. I would rate South Down Tree Services 6 stars out of 5 if it were possible! From booking, consultation and the tree surgeons themselves, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. The team came out on the hottest day of the year and did a tremendous job in removing three very large conifers. They were so quick with the work and cleaned up beautifully. Unfortunately the stumps could be ground-out on the day because of a fault with the machine, but they’ve come back today and finished the job beautifully.
